Migrate historical Gorgias tickets, macros, and inbox views into Chatarmin CX from a connected Gorgias account.

When to use it

Use the Gorgias migration wizard for a one-time historical import. For ongoing two-way sync after cutover, use the Gorgias integration.

Set it up

1

Connect Gorgias

Go to SettingsIntegrationsGorgias and connect the account you want to migrate from.
2

Start a migration

On the Gorgias integration detail page, open the Migrations section and start a migration for that account.
3

Choose scope

Select the views, ticket range, and optional macros or help center content to include.
4

Map statuses and agents

Map Gorgias statuses to Chatarmin CX statuses, then map Gorgias users to CX agents. Invite unmatched teammates when needed.
5

Remediate blocked views

If some Gorgias views cannot be imported as-is, define a replacement inbox view, skip that view, or skip all remaining blocked views.
6

Run and monitor

Start the migration and watch live progress. Review errors from the run detail page when a batch fails.

View remediation

Gorgias migrations use the same remediation pattern as Zendesk when views need manual adjustment. For each blocked view you can:
  • define a replacement inbox view with the same filters you use in the inbox today
  • skip that view and continue the import
  • skip all remaining blocked views

After import

Imported tickets appear in the inbox with their original timestamps and message history. Review a sample before you cut over channels or AI Agents.
Ticket imports are separate from live Gorgias sync. Use the migration wizard for one-time history, then keep the Gorgias integration connected only if you still need ongoing sync.
