The Amazon Seller integration turns Amazon Buyer-Seller messages into tickets in your Chatarmin CX inbox, so your team (and your AI Agents) can answer buyers from the same place they handle every other channel.

When to use it

Use Amazon Seller in Chatarmin CX when:
  • you sell on Amazon and buyers message you through Buyer-Seller Messaging
  • you want those messages parsed with order ID, product, and quick links instead of raw notification emails
  • you want AI Agents or macros to reply to Amazon buyers the same way they reply to email
Amazon delivers buyer messages to your team by email, not through a live chat feed. Chatarmin CX reads those notification emails and turns them into tickets — it does not poll Amazon for new messages.

How it works

Amazon Seller Central sends every buyer message as a notification email to an address you choose in Notification Preferences. Chatarmin CX links that same email address to your inbox, so:
  • incoming buyer emails are recognized automatically and parsed into a clean ticket view (order ID, buyer message, product list, and Seller Central action links)
  • replies you send from the ticket go out as a normal email reply through that same inbox connection — Amazon relays it back to the buyer’s real address for you, exactly like replying to the notification email yourself
  • resolved order lookups (for agents and AI tools) can also pull live order data from Amazon’s Selling Partner API once connected
Because replies are ordinary email, tickets fall back to the linked email channel’s sending limits (attachments, size) — there is no separate Amazon-specific limit to configure.

Set it up

You need Admin access in Chatarmin CX (the Manage integrations permission) and access to your Amazon Seller Central account for the marketplace(s) you sell on.
1

Open the Amazon Seller integration

Go to Integrations → Amazon Seller, switch to the Accounts tab, and click + Add account.
2

Authorize on Amazon

Pick your primary marketplace and click Connect Amazon Seller. Amazon opens a new tab — review the permissions and confirm to authorize. European marketplaces (UK, DE, FR, IT, ES) share one authorization, so you only connect once per region.
3

Point Amazon notifications at your inbox

Back in Chatarmin CX you land on Finish Amazon Seller setup. In Seller Central, open Notification Preferences → Messaging and set Buyer Messages to the email address you plan to connect below, then add that same address under Approved Senders so your replies reach buyers. Repeat this for every marketplace you sell on — notification settings are saved per marketplace.
4

Link your inbox in Chatarmin CX

Pick the email channel that receives those Amazon notifications (or connect a new one), then click Finish setup. Buyer tickets now show up tagged Amazon Seller in the inbox instead of as plain email.
If you already have an inbox connected for Amazon buyer messages from before this integration existed, link that same inbox in step 4 — you do not need a dedicated new inbox.

Test it

Send yourself (or ask a colleague) to trigger a real buyer message on the connected marketplace, or check an existing recent buyer email that landed in the linked inbox. It should appear in the ticket list tagged Amazon Seller, with the order ID and product parsed out. If it still shows as a plain Email ticket, notification routing or the inbox link is not correct yet — see Troubleshooting below.

Reply to Amazon customers

Open the ticket like any other and use Send reply. Your message goes out as a normal reply through the linked email inbox, and Amazon delivers it to the buyer without exposing either side’s real address.
AI Agents can draft and send replies on Amazon Seller tickets the same way they do on email — no separate setup is required. Chatarmin CX automatically appends your standard reply signature, matching how it treats email and contact-form replies.

Disconnect or reconnect

  • Reconnect: if Amazon revokes the connection, the integration shows Amazon signed this connection out on the setup page. Click Connect Amazon Seller again for the same marketplace to restore it — nothing else needs to change.
  • Disconnect: go to Integrations → Amazon Seller → Accounts, open the account’s menu, and choose Disconnect. This removes the Amazon connection and its link to your inbox; it does not delete the email channel itself or any existing tickets. This can’t be undone from that dialog — reconnecting later requires repeating Set it up above.

Troubleshooting

If none of these resolve it, contact support with the affected ticket or order ID.
