In the inbox, weclapp orders are read-only. Agents can view them but cannot change, cancel, or refund an order from cx. The only action that writes to weclapp is the AI Agent action Create delivery note.
When to use it
Use Weclapp when your orders and invoices live in weclapp and your support team regularly handles:- “where is my order?” and “what did I order?” questions
- requests for a copy of an invoice
- delivery note requests for dropshipping orders
Set up Weclapp
You need two things from weclapp:- ERP Url — your weclapp tenant address, for example
https://yourcompany.weclapp.com. Enter only the base address, without/webapp/...and without a trailing slash. cx adds the API path itself. - API Token — an API token from a weclapp user who can read sales orders, sales invoices, and purchase orders. See weclapp’s documentation for where to create it.

Check that it works

Use Weclapp in the inbox
When Weclapp is connected, cx looks up sales orders for the ticket contact’s email addresses and phone number.- Open a ticket with a contact that has an email address or phone number.
- In the customer panel, find the Weclapp section.
- Each order shows the order number (linked to the order in weclapp), the total, the order date, and the order Status, Payment Method, and Payment Status (Paid or Unpaid).
- Open an order to see the shipping and billing address and the list of products with quantity, article number, and price.
Matching orders to contacts
cx shows up to 50 matching orders. If the contact has no email address and no phone number, no orders are shown.
Order totals are shown in euros.
AI Agent actions
Give an AI Agent Weclapp actions when you want automation to answer order questions, send invoices, or create delivery notes. Connect Weclapp first, then enable the actions on the agent and select which connected Weclapp integration(s) the agent may use.Read actions
- Get order — Look up a weclapp sales order by sales order ID or order number.
- Get invoice — Fetch the invoice PDF for a sales order. Accepts a sales order ID, order number, invoice ID, or invoice number. The PDF is attached to the ticket so the agent can send it with its reply. Nothing changes in weclapp.
Write actions
- Create delivery note — Create a dropshipping delivery note PDF in weclapp for an order and attach it to the ticket. This only works if the sales order has a purchase order in weclapp.
Workflows
Legacy Workflows also include Weclapp steps. For new automation, use AI Agents. See Migrate from Workflows.Best practices
- Keep the contact’s email aligned with the invoice email in weclapp. Update the contact if the customer writes from a different address.
- Tell the agent in its instructions to call Get order first and use the order number it returns before calling Get invoice or Create delivery note.
- Use a dedicated weclapp user for the API token, so you can revoke access without affecting a person’s account.
Troubleshooting
No orders for a customer
- Confirm the contact’s email matches an invoice email on the sales order, or that the phone number matches the invoice address phone number.
- Check that the ERP Url is the base tenant address, without
/webapp/...or a trailing slash. - Check that the API token is still valid in weclapp. cx does not validate it on connect, so an expired or wrong token only shows up as missing orders.
