The Reviews.io channel turns customer reviews into tickets so your team can respond from the inbox.

What it does

After you connect Reviews.io, Chatarmin CX can create tickets from customer feedback and post replies from the inbox. You can then build a dedicated inbox view for review tickets.

Set up Reviews.io

1

Open the Reviews.io integration

Go to Integrations, choose Reviews.io, and click Connect.
2

Add API credentials

Enter your Reviews.io API key and store key.
3

Add dashboard login

Enter the Reviews.io dashboard email and password used to post replies. Chatarmin CX stores a dashboard session so replies can be sent from the inbox.
4

Complete email verification when prompted

If Reviews.io requires two-factor authentication, enter the one-time code sent to the masked email address shown in the connect dialog, then finish setup.

Reconnect the dashboard session

If the dashboard session expires, open the Reviews.io channel settings and use Reconnect dashboard. If Reviews.io asks for verification again, enter the one-time code from your email to restore reply posting. When a reply fails because the session expired, the failed message in the inbox shows a Reconnect action that opens the Reviews.io channel settings. Use it to restore reply posting without hunting through settings.

Rating filters

You can decide whether every rating creates a ticket or only specific ratings, such as one- and two-star reviews.

Best practices

  • Create a dedicated view for review tickets.
  • Start with low-star ratings if your team only wants to follow up on negative feedback.
  • Use tags to separate product feedback, delivery feedback, and support feedback.
