Add a footer note with a link to your contact form

What is that?

Contact forms can now display a short footer text with a clickable link—for example, a link to your privacy policy. This is useful for legal notices (e.g., GDPR-required notices regarding data processing) that must appear directly below the form, with a working link instead of just plain text.

⚙️ Here's how to set it up

  1. Open your contact form in ArminCX under Channels → Contact Forms.

  2. Go to the form's settings and find the footer field.

  3. Enter your note.

  4. Paste your link here (e.g., to the privacy policy)—the link is clickable for the customer; it's not just displayed as plain text.

  5. Save your changes.

When You Should Use This

  • You need a legal notice (e.g., a privacy notice) directly below a contact form or a cancellation form.

  • Readers should be able to click directly to the relevant page, rather than just reading a link.

When You Should NOT Use This

  • For general marketing messages or advertising copy—use the regular description fields in your form.

Good to know: The footer field supports a functional, clickable link. This closes the previous gap, where forms could only display static informational text without an actual link.

You're all set and ready to go!
