Understanding AI Credits in ArminCX
To provide high-quality AI features, ArminCX utilizes powerful Large Language Models (LLMs). Every time the AI performs a task, AI credits are consumed. This article explains how these credits are calculated, used, and tracked.
1. What are AI Credits?
AI credits are the internal unit of measurement for using our AI features. Instead of charging a flat fee for unpredictable computing loads, we use a credit system to ensure fair, usage-based billing.
Since the beginning of 2026, these variable AI costs are charged in addition to the monthly base fees.
2. When are Credits Consumed?
A credit is consumed every time the AI performs a specific action. These actions are divided into two main categories:
A. Support Responses
Auto-Responses: When the AI automatically replies to a customer ticket.
Suggestions (Manual Drafts): When a Response Draft is created, or when an agent clicks "Generate New" to have the AI draft a response.
Text Modifiers: When the AI is used to adjust an existing draft (e.g., changing the tone, shortening the text, or making it more formal).
B. Workflow Automation
Workflows are the core of automation and consume credits during the following steps:
AI Condition Nodes: When the AI evaluates logic (e.g., "Is this message a complaint?").
Data Extraction (Extract Data): When the AI pulls specific information from a message, such as an order number or a specific delivery date.
Workflow Responses: When the AI sends a message as part of an automated sequence.
3. Efficiency & Predictability via AI Agent V5
With our latest AI Agent V5 Migration, we introduced Supermemory. This system operates significantly more efficiently than traditional methods:
Predictability: While older versions could have fluctuating computing loads for very complex knowledge bases, the V5 version is optimized to keep credit consumption per interaction stable and predictable.
Intelligent Knowledge Usage: Instead of searching through massive amounts of data for every request, Supermemory uses pre-extracted facts. This preserves your credit balance and speeds up response times.
4. Monitoring Your Usage
You can view your current consumption in real-time at any time:
Navigate to Settings.
Click on the Billing section.
There, you will find a detailed overview of AI credits used and the variable usage units incurred during the current period.
